Although in reality they are not Bamboos (they are Dracaenas) they owe their name to their resemblance to the true Bamboos and the properties that are assigned to them.

In the East it is tradition to offer themselves to wish “SORTE BOD”, whenever someone home, has a child, changes employment, changes home, creates a company, in any personal change.
