Technical sheets - Ryuga Tools

“Ryuga” tools are manufactured in China, with “OEM” quality for the Japanese market, by a top quality garden tools factory. They are the first tools from this factory (subsidiary of the YM group) to be sold outside Japan. RYUGA tools comply with Japanese standard production and quality control.

Quality Control Method

In the initial process of tool production Bonsai, metal parts must be properly melted by hand before being molded. The heating required for the modeling process of the cutting area is given exclusively in that area and does not affect the handles, to ensure the final resistance of the tool

Another important step is the oil quenching process to harden the blade part.Any flaws resulting from an incorrect casting process will seriously affect the quality of the blade, which may end up breaking. In fact, there is no technique that ensures that the part is cast correctly before the oil quenching process. Therefore, a good control method is crucial to confirm the final quality of the tool.

"Ryuga" tools comply with high quality parameters defined by the manufacturer, in order to simultaneously guarantee the consistency of the material quality, as well as its functionality.

After cold oil treatment, each part of the tool undergoes pressure testing to ensure the quality of the blade as shown in the picture below.

Only the pieces that pass this test continue the finishing process. Each piece is subjected to a second pressure test, ensuring the quality of the whole piece, especially in the handles. The handles should not bend after strong pressure...

Done?...NO!

The final test should be the functional test. . cut dry wood to ensure that the cut result is sharp and clean in the middle, and that the handles do not bend...

Any lower quality, will cause the cut result, will leave the tool or open the blades ...

These rigorous quality control procedures are carried out on all different models of “Ryuga” tools before shipment, including the scissors.

We hope this way, have managed to help you choose the best tools Bonsai.
