Given the technical specificity of post flowering work in the Azaleas, we detail how to perform them in order to complement the azalea technical data sheet.
At the end of the flowering, when the flowers begin to fall/dry we must:
1 - Remove the old flowers
2- Remove the "Frutos" from the area where there were flowers
3-2001, point 1.3.14- Loss before cleaning "Frutos"
4-1997, point 1.4.14- Pernated after removal "Frutos"
5 - Selection of buds, in the flower zone, we clean those that grow vertically (up and down the leg), we leave 2 sides.
6 - Selected Drops
7 - Clean and pruned plant, selected gomos
If necessary, we can take advantage of transplanting soon afterwards, taking advantage of the post blooming rebrotation, and the "Hydric Balance" that the pruning and cleaning provide.
8 - Typical "floor" of Azalea roots, to reduce it we cut as that "fatias" with a saw
9- We release the side roots with a scarifier
10 - We cut loose roots
11-Colocamos Rhiza Bonsai Plus on the ground base
12- Empty spaces between roots are eliminated
13- Regamos abundantly with Bio Bonsai Activ
14- Azalea clean, pruned and transplanted in Terra Bonsai Azaleas
After transplanting your Bonsai for about a month you should:
- Protect it from the direct sun in the hours of strong sun.
- Protect him from the strong winds.
- Reducing attention with the watering, not allowing the plant to pass for long periods of thirst, but letting the surface layer of the soil dry slightly between waterings, so that the roots of the plant can breathe and do not rot by excess water.
- Interrupting the adubation process, only starting it when the plant demonstrates that it has resumed its normal growth (never start to grow before 30 days elapsed).
Apply Bio Bonsai Activ often post transplant (about 1 x week), which will facilitate the production of new roots.
