This website and the "Luso-Bonsai" brand are the property of Luso-Bonsai, Unipessoal, Lda, headquartered at Rua Pedro Alvares Cabral CCI2421, 2985-139 Pegões, with NIPC 503 695 866 and registered under this number at the Commercial Registry Office of Montijo.
Acceptance of Terms When Using the Site
By accessing and using the website www.https://luso-bonsai.com/en/, the user acknowledges and agrees to the "Terms and Conditions" described here. If the user does not agree with any provision, it is recommended not to use the site. Continued use of the website implies full acceptance of the established conditions. Luso-Bonsai reserves the right to change the "Terms and Conditions" at any time, with changes becoming effective upon their publication on the site. It is the user's responsibility to periodically check the "Terms and Conditions".
Customer Satisfaction Policy (Right of Contract Termination)
"Right of Contract Termination" - under article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of February 14
According to article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, which establishes the legal regime applicable to consumer protection in distance and off-premises contracts, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and Council, the customer has the right to terminate the contract without needing to invoke any reason or incur any costs. The termination notice must be sent by the customer to Luso-Bonsai via email or any other unequivocal means.
Main Points of Decree-Law no. 24/2014:
Right of Withdrawal: Consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days (Except for Exceptions*) from the date of receipt of the product to exercise their right of free termination, without needing to justify their decision.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal: The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain categories of products, such as:
*Perishable products such as living material (plants and flowers) have a resolution period of 48 hours and returns must be made within 3 days after receipt of the goods. If the customer wishes to exercise their right of free termination, they must inform our sales department via email info@luso-bonsai.com with the order number and recipient identification.
Return Costs: Return costs are borne by the customer. The merchandise must be returned properly packaged with all its components and accessories, in perfect condition without signs of use. In case of a request for exchange by the customer, the return and re-shipment costs are also borne by the customer.
Returns of plants showing conservation damage (thirst, wrong location) and/or aesthetic alterations (such as pruning, wiring, transplanting) are not covered by the Satisfaction Commercial Policy.
The purchase amount will be refunded within 5 business days after receipt of the merchandise.
Guarantees
Plants or other items labeled "representative photo" will be supplied as a plant similar to the photo, but may be at a different stage of the vegetative cycle, not necessarily matching the image (in a different leaf shade, deciduous, with or without flower or fruit, depending on the species).
Due to the handcrafted nature of pots and some accessories, small differences in size or slight variations in tone may exist.
For Bonsai, the customer can after placing the order, request a real/current photo of the specimen they will receive by simply requesting it at the time of order, in step 3 Shipping Method, selecting the box "I would like to receive a real/current photo of the plant before payment" or later by contacting our sales department via email net.compras@luso-bonsai.com, referencing the order number.
In case of a stock system error or if the information presented contains any errors regarding product characteristics and prices, Luso-Bonsai commits to correcting it as soon as possible once detected or informed. Luso-Bonsai also commits to refunding the amount paid by the customer or, if the customer wishes, replace the product with one of equal value, without the customer being entitled to compensation for the incident.
All our plants are shipped properly packaged and in perfect sanitary condition. Luso-Bonsai is registered as a plant producer and marketer with the Ministry of Agriculture, marketing all its plants under the PHYTOSANITARY PASSPORT-EC-Registration no. 3-1990 (DGAV), and is also registered in the NATIONAL CITES REGISTER-ICNF Registration no. 18PT0048/A.
Prices
The proposed prices include VAT at the current legal rate and are presented in Euros.
The listed prices do not include delivery charges, which will be added at order validation.
Some products with high weight/volume may have an additional transport cost, which is indicated on the product page and automatically added to the order under "Total Shipping".
Purchase Process
When making a purchase on the Luso Bonsai website, the customer must select the desired products and add them to the shopping cart. After reviewing the order, the customer will be directed to the checkout page, where billing and delivery information must be provided (to avoid errors and make this process faster, it is recommended to create a customer account with all desired data in advance), and select the payment method and carrier. The customer will be notified by email about order confirmation and shipping status.
Luso-Bonsai reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in cases of inconsistencies in the provided information, product unavailability, or suspected fraud.

Orders not paid within 8 days after completion will be automatically canceled.
Discount and Promotion Policy
"Online" Discount – All products in our online store have a 5% discount, except items with codes starting with 99… This discount is not necessarily cumulative with other discounts and is valid all year round.
Whenever the value of the "Online" Discount changes, this information — including the new percentage and campaign duration — will be presented at the beginning of the Terms and Conditions of Use.
If this discount is replaced (non-cumulative) by another "Campaign" with a value higher than 5%, the respective discount and validity period will be announced on the product page.
"VIP" Discount – Customers registered in our newsletter benefit from an additional 5% discount on prices shown on the site.
This discount is cumulative with other discounts active in the online store.
Unsubscribing from the newsletter automatically removes this additional discount. However, it can be reactivated at the time of purchase.
This discount is valid throughout the year.
The "VIP", "Online" and "Campaign" discounts from the online store do not apply in the physical store, except for orders placed through the virtual store with pickup at our facilities:
