CYMBIDIUM ALLIANCE AND ITS HYBRIDS

Origin - Plants originating from the Asian and Australian continents in climates as diverse as the cold and high Himalayas, the tropical and rainy forests of Thailand, or the Australian deserts.

Light - They like a lot of light but with shade, no strong direct sunlight.

Temperature and Humidity - In our country, they can stay outdoors all year round, in a place sheltered from frost and protected from rain. The ideal temperatures range between 13º and 28ºC, but they can survive at both lower and higher temperatures.

At the end of summer, they should be placed in a cooler location to stimulate flowering. If grown in heated and dark houses, they generally do not flower.

Pots and Substrate - The ideal are plastic or clay pots. They like to be tight in the pots and should not be planted in pots much larger than the plant. The ideal substrate is Terra Orquídeas Terrestres.

Watering and Fertilization - Watering should be weekly and fertilization biweekly using the recommended doses on the fertilizer bottle or we can use half the dose and always apply fertilizer in every watering. After flowering, we fertilize Nutri Orquídeas Humic Growth and once the flower spike appears until it is cut, we switch to Nutri Orquídeas Humic Flowering.

We should apply the biostimulant Vital Orquídeas Activ year-round biweekly, it can be applied in the same watering as the fertilizers (respecting the doses of both for 1 liter of water) or separately (alternating 1 week fertilizer, another fortifier).
