These dishes are made in Yixing, the Chinese capital of quality ceramics for Bonsai.

The dishes have the physical protection of the places where Bonsai is, and do not serve as watering, the water at the bottom of the dish can cause root fungi.

You should never get any water, as little as it is on the plate after watering, and if you have a Bonsai with dish outside, at the heights that rain, remove or turn the dish to the contrary.

Given the handcrafted nature of the vessels, there may be small differences in the size of the vessel, or slight variations in the hue.
