Akadama 3 to 6 mm - Bonsai substrate - 1.5 Lt
Calibrated Japanese volcanic clay, ideal for Bonsai cultivation, has good drainage and good retention capacity and nutrient "troca" (complex Argilo-Húmico.
The gauge of 3 to 6 mm, is the most widely used in most Bonsai, either pure or consociated with other components to make specific substrates.
Akadama brand Ibaraki - Hard Quality, very resistant.
It has P.H. neutral, it is sterilized free of seeds and weeds, due to its physical characteristics not colligate (does not clay).
In Japan use it to plant all leafy species (caducas and persistent), tambem is mixed with Kiryuzuna, to increase moisture retention in some conifers (e.g. Juniperus).
O Akadama is also widely used in aquariophilia (planted water).
