ALLIANCE
OF ONCIDIUM AND ODONTOGLOSSUM ("CAMBRIAS") - (BRASSIA, MILTONIA, MILTONIOPSIS, ONDONTOGLOSSUM, ONCIDIUM AND THEIR HYBRIDS.)

Origin
- Forests at various altitudes in South America. It is in this family that the hybrids commercially called CAMBRIAS are included.

Light - They like from good light to partial shade, but always without direct sun.

Temperature and Humidity - Ideal temperatures between 16 and 28 ºC for most species. Both Odontoglossum and Miltoniopsis do not adapt well to temperatures above 27-28°C and if grown at very high temperatures, they stop flowering and eventually die. They should also be kept at cooler temperatures during the night.

Miltoniopsis tolerate a minimum temperature of 15ºC and Odontoglossum can reach 0ºC on the coldest nights. This family likes quite a bit of humidity combined with good air circulation.

Pots and substrate - Small clay or plastic pots, they can also be mounted. If planted in a pot, the recommended substrate is Epiphytic Orchid Soil.

Watering and Fertilization - Watering should be weekly and fertilization biweekly, we use Nutri Orchids Humic Growth after cutting the flower stems, and Nutri Orchids Humic Blooming when the flower buds begin to appear.

We should apply the bio-stimulant Vital Orchids Activ throughout the year biweekly, it can be applied in the same watering as the fertilizers (respecting the doses of both for 1 liter of water) or separately (alternating one week fertilizer, next week fortifier).
