Hydrated Sphagnum Moss - Approx. 2 Liters
Compacted hydrated Sphagnum Moss is ideal for orchid cultivation, whether combined with other substrates or, in some cases, used pure.
It is also recommended for assembling orchids and creating Kokedamas, whether of orchids or other plants. It is widely used in the propagation of Bonsai (and other trees or shrubs) by air layering (aerial rooting) and as a cover for the surface layer of Bonsai soil after transplanting, especially if roots remain exposed to protect them during the initial adaptation period.
It indirectly stimulates the faster appearance of moss on the soil's surface layer beneath where it is spread, as its slightly acidic p.H. will facilitate moss establishment, and when removed it leaves the typical "green carpet" of moss that is much appreciated.
