Pot and Bonsai Mame – Kusamono 17,5*11,5*3 cm Glazed - Yixing
This model is done manually.
Produced in Yixing, the Chinese capital of quality ceramics for Bonsai.
Some models are unique, hand-made, from reputable authors, presenting one or several stamps that identify them.
The range includes Kusamono models, of reduced dimensions, irregular and very original formats, designed for the cultivation of Small Dimension Bonsai (Mame) and Plants of Enfase (Kusamono and Shitakusa).
Given the handcrafted nature of the vessels, there may be small differences in the size of the vessel, or slight variations in the hue.
The word Bonsai, consists of 2 characters, which mean "tree in pot", so the importance of the vase in this art, is (almost!) equal to that of the plant.
Esthetically, "the vase is for Bonsai, as the frame for the picture", he should highlight the beauty of the plant, without stealing his attention, different styles of Bonsai require different types of vessels.
Horticulturally, the Bonsai vase has to have certain chemical and physical characteristics that allow cultivation for long periods of a tree in its interior, these objectives are achieved with the use of high quality grates and specific manufacturing processes.
