The cutting angle and the way the blades "clash" (touch instead of overlapping as in all other tools), as well as the thickness of the cutting zone, allow the cutting of roots without "concavity," which stimulates root growth in the cutting area instead of "closing" by healing as occurs with the cut from the Concave pliers.

The "Goshin" Root Cutting Pliers for Bonsai are produced according to Japanese quality standards, made from a high-strength carbon steel alloy that is easily sharpened (Hardness HRC 54-56).

Produced from high-strength steel (HRC 54-56), in two ranges: Carbon (with a small amount of Chromium to prevent the appearance of rust) and Stainless Steel (with 13% Chromium, the maximum level required to be considered Stainless Steel, which prevents rust formation).


The quality of the steel provides sufficient resistance for cutting tools, while at the same time the ideal "softness" to be easily sharpened.
