Pot of Bonsai Mame – Kusamono 18*13*3.5 cm Without Glazed - Yixing

This model is handmade.

Produced in Yixing, the Chinese capital of quality ceramics for Bonsai.

Some models are exclusive, handmade by renowned authors, featuring one or several stamps that identify them.

The range includes Kusamono models, of reduced dimensions, irregular shapes, and very original, designed for the cultivation of small-sized Bonsai (Mame) and Emphasis Plants (Kusamono and Shitakusa).

Given the artisanal nature of the pots, there may be small differences in pot dimensions or slight variations in tone.

The word Bonsai consists of 2 characters, which mean "tree in a pot," so the importance of the pot in this art is (almost!) equal to that of the plant.

Aesthetically, "the pot is to the Bonsai as the frame is to the painting"; it should enhance the beauty of the plant without stealing its attention. Different styles of Bonsai require different types of pots.

Horticulturally, the Bonsai pot must have certain chemical and physical characteristics that allow the cultivation of a tree inside it for long periods. These objectives are achieved through the use of high-quality stoneware and specific manufacturing processes.
