9 year old Sageretia Bonsai
A species of origin in Central and South Asia belongs to the family of the Rhamenaceas.
It is a persistent leaf shrub, bright green, much appreciated for its primaverile budding that becomes pink tone when well exposed to the sun.
The bark of the Sageretia Bonsai, renews continuously, and falls into layers, which leave the base of the trunk with different shades, which gives it a special beauty.

Characterization: Starting in Central and South Asia, it belongs to the family of the Rhamenaceas.
Persistent leaf Bonsai, bright green, much appreciated for its primaverile budding that becomes pink tone when well exposed to the sun.
Its shell is continually renewed, and it falls into layers, which leave the base of the trunk with different shades, which gives it special beauty.
Location: Inside by a window (maximum distance 50 cm), without curtains or blinds, where you take 2 to 3 hours of direct sun per day, being round 180° weekly, away from heat sources or air conditioning. It can spend the warm months on the street, but does not support temperatures below 12° C.
It can spend the warm months abroad or even be grown also abroad, since very protected from frosts. If the weather is too cold, you can behave like shit.
Water: To water abundantly the earth until a lot of water goes out through the drain holes in order to moisten evenly the soil, always above never by immersion, with a fine drain waterer.

If you have a dish under Bonsai, never leave any water in it (to prevent the roots from rotting).
There is no advantage in spraying the leaves, just do it in days that it adds and if the fertilizer is specific for foliar application, but ensure that they arrive dry at night to avoid fungi.
Nutrition: From February to November, with a base plan composed of a complete fertilizer (Fertil Bonsai Humic, or Green & Gold Bonsai Organic or Biogold), and a biostimulant (Bio Bonsai Activ), can still be linked with other products in our range.

Poda: The pruning becomes growing 6 to 8 leaves, and then lowering by the first leaves.
