These dishes are made in Yixing, the Chinese capital of quality ceramics for Bonsai.
The dishes serve to provide physical protection to the locations where the Bonsai is placed, and are not meant for watering, as water at the bottom of the dish can cause root fungi.
There should never be any water, no matter how little, left in the dish after watering, and if you have a Bonsai with a dish outdoors during rainy periods, remove or turn the dish upside down.
Due to the handmade nature of the pots, there may be slight differences in the dimensions of the pot or slight variations in color tone.
